Really Good Time Blast Back With ‘Retreat To The Cubicle’

The Dublin lads are on the march...

Irish four-piece Really Good Time unleash new single ‘Retreat To The Cubicle’.

The band breezed over the Irish Sea late last year, playing some emphatic showcase events. Packing out London’s Social venue just before Christmas, Really Good Time also revved up crowds on Franz Ferdinand’s latest tour.

Supporting fellow Irish group The Murder Capital, the band’s debut EP ‘Escape From The Mountain Of Spit’ comes with approval from Lamacq roundtable on 6Music.

New single ‘Retreat To The Cubicle’ is a barnstorming piece of surrealist indie rock, pitched somewhere between PIXIES, say, and LCD Soundsystem. All jagged edges and twitchy word play, it was inspired by a deviant party, and their return from the brink of chaos.

A delirious piece of fun-time indie rock, director Eilis Doherty dials it back to the early 00s for the indie sleaze visuals.

All that’s to come, however – check out the single below.
