Liverpool’s latest indie hopefuls The Rascals are set to tour the UK after announcing a series of nationwide tour dates.
The band are led by part time Shadow Puppet Miles Kane, and blend together spiky indie guitars with lush, melodramatic melodies. Debut album “Rascalize” was released on June 23rd to warm reviews, but The Rascals have been rather overshadowed in the media by Kane’s collaboration with with head Monkey Alex Turner. This tour is a good opportunity for the Scouse tunesmiths to put that right.
Amongst the tour dates are a two night homecoming special at Liverpool’s The Picket venue, and a performance at Scotland’s remote Loopallu Festival.
The Rascals are set to play the following UK dates:
September 17th – Liverpool, The Picket
September 18th – Liverpool, The Picket
