An ultra-rare Prince mixtape is set to be re-issued on Record Store Day.
The release was initially handed out as a promo tape in July 1995, a reward for attendees of the Versace collection at Paris Fashion Week.
'The VERSACE Experience: PRELUDE 2 GOLD' has since gone on to become highly collectable, becoming the most expensive cassette ever sold on Discogs – reaching £3,075 in 2016.
Donatella Versace told Vogue at the time: “He didn’t just influence my work, he epitomised what Versace stands for: Creative, fierce, daring, extraordinary.”
The cassette will be given a new pressing on Record Store Day – April 13th – bringing it back into print for the first time since 1995.
