Rapsody Looks Inward On Self-Aware LP ‘Please Don’t Cry’

The North Carolina rapper's fourth album features Erykah Badu, Lil Wayne, Baby Tate and more...

Rapsody is back with her much-needed fourth albumPlease Don’t Cry today.

The record begins with a thesis statement delivered by legendary actress Phylicia Rashad; “Baby, the only way out is in. I mean, do you even know who you are?

Rapsody gets to unpacking her personal journey of increasing self-awareness as she looks increasingly further inward to make peace with life’s highs, lows and uncertainties.

The long-awaited follow up to 2019’s ‘Eve’, the vulnerable and open-hearted release sees the 3X Grammy-nominated Roc Nation artist joined by an all-star cast including features from Erykah Badu, Lil Wayne, Alex Isley, Niko Brim and Baby Tate, with production from Hit-Boy.

‘Please Don’t Cry’ is a generous insight into Rapsody’s healing process, which has more to offer with each listen.

To celebrate her return, Rapsody will be hitting the road later this year, with four European dates, culminating in a London show which goes on sale next week. For more info keep an eye on Rapsody’s website here.
