BRIT Award winner Rag'n'Bone Man is set to become a Record Store Day ambassador.
The annual celebration of all things vinyl returns on April 21st, with organisers lining up ambassadors to help aid their cause.
Rag'n'Bone Man's debut album 'Human' was an incredible success last year, spurred on in part by fans picking up physical copies.
Arranging a Record Store Day release, the singer recorded ‘Don’t Set The World On Fire’ and ‘George Has Got A Friend’ live and straight to vinyl at Metropolis Studios last month.
Pressed on limited edition 12 inch vinyl, the one off single will be available to purchase from participating shops on April 21st.
But that's not all, with Record Store Day bringing Rag'n'Bone Man on board as an ambassador. Says the singer:
“Big up Record store day for having me as their ambassador this year. It’s a real nice escape going to a record shop, spending hours flicking through vinyl, checking out new and old stuff, looking at the artwork and reading through the liner notes. I remember when my first project was pressed to vinyl. I swear I pinched myself 100 times to make sure it was really happening, It was so sick, especially because I’ve always been an avid collector and I never thought I’d have a press of my own!”
Record Store Day takes place on April 21st.
