Swedish artist Raghd has today shared a remix of fan favourite cut ‘Easy Go!’, featuring Canadian rapper-producer SadBoi.
Raghd follows a conveyor belt of progressive artists like Bladee, Namasenda and Dinamarca breaking through to demographics outside their native Sweden. Last year, Raghd packaged diaristic lyrics with strident jazz, RnB, garage rock, Baltimore Club, and a continuum of UK dance sub-genres on EP ‘A Good Friend’.
Her propulsive jungle riddim ‘Easy Go!‘ is given a vocal uplift by SadBoi, who’s riding a creative high with her garage anthem ‘Potential’. Speaking on the remix, Raghd shares: “‘Easy Go!’ is the first song we recorded for the project. I wrote the song about and for myself, but also for those who can relate to making a decision to invest in something despite high risk. Especially when you have nothing to fall back on. Collaborating with SadBoi for the remix is so cool, as soon as I heard her the first time, I knew we would sound wicked together!”
