Rage Against The Machine Support Slots

Full details confirmed

Rap metal icons Rage Against The Machine have confirmed details of the support groups at their free London show.

A true victory for the underdog, Rage Against The Machine beat off competition last year to claim the coveted Christmas number one slot. Pushed on by an inventive internet campaign, the rap metal icons promised fans a free victory party.

Now after six months of organising, Rage Against The Machine have revealed full details of the support slots.

Taking place in London’s Finsbury Park on June 6th, tickets for the show were given away for free via a prize draw. Fans entered online, with all 60,000 being snapped up by lucky punters across the country.

Opening at 2pm, fans will be entertained first by Gallows. One of the best live acts in Britain right now, the incendiary hardcore troupe will take to the stage at one of the biggest shows in their entire career.

Also set to perform are Gogol Bordello, who confirmed their involvement in an interview with the BBC. The gypsy punks are set to storm the London park, with their samba inspired new album due for release over the summer.

Finally, British rap star Roots Manuva is set to keep the crowds entertained. One of the most distinctive voices in UK hip hop, the rapper will go on stage just before Rage Against The Machine.

The show is set to finish at 10.30pm, meaning that Rage Against The Machine will play a full two hour set. The band refused to be filmed at their last British shows in 2008, with fans eager to get a glimpse of the 21st century rap metal icons.

Rage Against The Machine’s victory party takes place on June 6th.
