Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon has stepped in to add some rhymes to Lorde's breakthrough hit 'Royals'.
The sign of a truly great pop song is the sheer volume of cover versions it inspires. Within a few days of being uploaded, Lorde's single 'Royals' was being re-worked by artists around the world.
The Weeknd stepped in on remix duties, while all manner of unofficial edits, bootlegs and mash ups have appeared online.
Now Raekwon has uploaded his own take on the single. The essential skeleton of 'Royals' is maintained, with the production stripped back to little more than a pulse and Lorde's evocative vocal.
Throwing in some rhymes, the SoundCloud tags include "respect," "real," "art," and "luxurious." It's odd… but it kinda works.
