Hip-hop icon Raekwon is writing his memoirs.
As Rolling Stone reports, the Wu-Tang legend is working on a book, with The Story Of Raekwon set to land next year.
Co-written with journalist Anthony Bozza, it deals with Raekwon's journey from “drug dealer to hip-hop godfather.”
In a statement, Raekwon says: “This is my story. From being a wide-eyed kid full of hopes and dreams, through hard times and sadness and so many situations I’m amazed I survived. This is all of it, the good, the bad, the ugly, the whole truth and nothing but.”
It's been a year of reflection for Raekwon, who recently shared the instrumental stems for his seminal album 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx' on its 25th birthday.
The Story Of Raekwon will be published in 2021 through Gallery Books.
