The gradual ascent of Rae Morris from precocious youngster to pop star in waiting has been curious to observe.
Each step has been taken slowly, deliberately, with recent single 'Cold' – co-written with Fryars – seeming to act as something of a breakthrough.
New release 'Closer' will only serve to fuel her momentum. Out on October 22nd, the track was penned alongside Kid Harpoon and has already been named 'The Hottest Record In The World' by Zane Lowe.
It's easy to see why. Rae's elegant vocal is matched to a pop flair which is hugely tempting.
