Radiohead, Kylie Pick Up Awards

Round Up From Digital Music Awards

Radiohead, Kylie Minogue and Coldplay were the big winners at last year’s BT Digital Music Awards, held last night (October 1st) in the London Roundhouse.

Radiohead won ‘Artists of The Year’ in recognition of their work in distributing their music online. Fellow Englishmen Coldplay won the ‘Best Rock / Indie Artist’ while their website picked up the ‘Best Official Music Website’.

Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue, meanwhile, walked away with ‘Best Pop Artist’ and her website won in the ‘Innovation’ category.

Clashmusic.com was nominated for two awards, but declined to pick them up as someone else’s name was read out by mistake. Very strange.

Amongst the artists who performed at the ceremony were Sugababes, British Sea Power and Iglu & Hartly.
