British rock legends Radiohead are set to release their track “Reckoner” and have invited fans to remix the song and send them the results.
The track is taken from recent industry bustin’ album “In Rainbows”, and will be released as six ‘stems’ – separate parts of the song which can then be remixed.
Radiohead released their single “Nude” in a similar fashion earlier this year, with a remix from a Glasgow School Of Art Student going on to become an internet sensation with even the band themselves admitting they loved it.
“Reckoner” will be released in stem form on September 23rd, according to reports, and ti is not yet known is the track will be released as a single to coincide with the remixing project. The track will also feature on the new Chuck Palahniuk movie “Choke”, as was previously announced.
