US supergroup The Raconteurs, featuring the combined talents of Brendan Benson and Jack White, are set to release new album “Consolers Of The Lonely” today (March 25th).
In an unprecedented move, the band themselves have brought the release date forward to avoid leaks and beat piracy. The album is available from iTunes and major record stores right now, with other outlets set to follow during the week.
The cover art sees Jack White’s thirst for costume drama continue, with the band dressed in a colonial style aboard a raft draped in banners.
