Yeah Yeah Yeahs axe slinger Nick Zinner engaged Jack White in a frenzied guitar battle onstage at a very special New York show, it has been announced.
The Raconteurs are currently in the middle of a massive US tour to promote ace second album “Consolers Of The Lonely”. On Saturday night (May 31st) the band were playing a filled to capacity Terminal Five venue in New York as part of a three night residency when they unveiled a very special guest from the wings.
Nick Zinner then emerged to join in with the band on a version of “Broken Boy Soldier” taken from The Raconteurs’ first LP, bringing the crowd close to hysteria.
The Raconteurs have just extended their US until well into the fall, with a UK visit to the Reading and Leeds festivals also planned.
