Adele Joins US Group

US supergroup The Raconteurs have been joined by British lung-buster Adele on the B-side to new single 'Many Shades Of Black', it has emerged.

The Raconteurs were formed from a series of informal jams between friends - it just so happens that those friends were legendary Detroit musicians Jack White, Brendan Benson and The Greenhornes. Debut album 'Broken Boy Soldiers' was an unexpected delight, with second attempt 'Consolers Of The Lonely' establishing the band as an entity in its own right.

On new single 'Many Shades Of Black' it seems the band have found a new member - British singer Adele joins them on the B-side of the seven inch version. It seems that duets are the order of the day for Jack White - whose Bond collaboration with Alicia Keys is winning global praise.

The new Raconteurs single 'Many Shades Of Black' is available now through the band's webstore on their official site.
