Rachel Aggs Confirms Debut Solo Album

Recorded on a remote Scottish island...

DIY heroine Rachel Aggs has shared details of her debut solo album.

The musician is a key part of groups such as Shopping and Trash Kit, while she's also 50% of the wonderful Sacred Paws.

Rachel took part in the Isle of Eigg residency project V I S I T ▲ T I O N S, a residency set up by Lost Map Records.

Wandering across a remote, deeply independent Scottish island, Rachel Aggs responded with lo-fi pop, fusing her distinctive approach to guitar and vocals into something unique.

It's billed as "a snapshot of isolation" in the press note, with the album available now to Lost Map subscribers.

Set to be given a broader release shortly, Rachel Aggs spoke about the creative process behind the record for Lost Map's podcast.
