R & S Records Returns

Seminal Label Relaunches

Seminal Belgian electronica label R & S Records is set to return with a full re-issue project, and a host of new releases planned.

In its original form, R & S Records released some of the most important works in 90s electronica, including vital releases by Aphex Twin, Derrick May, Joey Beltram and 69 (Carl Craig).

The re-launched label will now be based in the UK, centering on label head James Ingle. After tiring of the electronic scene, Ingle wound up the label, but a recent rush of quality releases has inspired him to bring the imprint back.

The relaunch will commence with the re-issue of three classic albums on April 7th, including the legendary “Ambient Works 85-92” by Aphex Twin.

R&S will make their back catalogue available to download shortly, with new releases planned for later in the year.
