R.E.M. have unveiled videos for two videos for tracks taken from ‘Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbarge: 1982-2011’.
R.E.M. are over, finished… kaput. The American group have decided to call it a day, with their final recording sessions set to be released as bonus tracks on their new compilation ‘Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbarge: 1982-2011’.
Set to be released on November 14th, the album is a two disc collection telling the story of the band’s career. Adding some unheard material, R.E.M. have now prepared videos for two bonus tracks.

Meanwhile, R.E.M. have spoken about what the future holds for each member. Chatting to MOJO, Mike Mills has explained that he does not believe that Michael Stipe will venture into music again.
“I don’t think that’s (music) is where his passion lies. I think he wants to be in the visual arts. I imagine Michael will do a lot of sculpture and photography. I think those are his big interests now.”
