Queens Of The Stone Age vs JAYZ

"That guy's a kook, you know..."

Queens Of The Stone Age have blasted JAY Z following their appearance at the rapper's Made In America festival.

Queens Of The Stone Age aren't ones to take prisoners. The desert rockers apply the same intensity to every aspect of their career – from recording to partying, they aren't people to be trifled with.

Dropping past JAY Z's Made In America festival, the group were left with a pretty poor impression of both the event and the organiser himself.

Speaking on CBC Radio 2's Strombo Show, Josh Homme had some stern words for the rapper. "That guy's a kook, you know," he said. "He has his security frisking the bands on the way in."

Continuing, the frontman said: "You shouldn't frisk my guys, you should fuck off." JAY Z gave the band a bottle of champagne, but insisted that they be photographed with it – to Josh Homme's clear chagrin. "I was like, 'That's not a gift – that's a marketing tool.' I destroyed it, 'cause I thought it was rude overall."

In the show a breaking noise can be heard, with Homme joking: "This is me breaking Jay Z's gifts… People never say anything bad about Jay Z, do they?"
