PVT have signalled the return, with the band confirming plans for their fourth studio album and a series of European tour dates.
PVT's curious journey has taken them across labels and monikers. Yet the Australian group continue to surprise, and their upcoming fourth album promises to be typically ambitious. Grandly titled, 'Homosapien' promises to be something special.
Loosely written around the concept of the human condition, the album drops next year but ClashMusic has been given a sneak peak at where the band are heading. New single 'Nightfall' is set to be released on October 22nd via the band's new home Felte Records.
Opening with ominous, fuzzy synths the rattling drums have a Krautrock edge to them – think the older, rowdier cousin of Neu! and you'd be close. The choppy, urgent vocals mask a renewed flair for linear songcraft, with PVT somehow less obvious and more direct than ever before.
