Sure, most people – including the Clash staff, if we're honest – use it for little more than endless re-Tweeting pictures of kittens with funny slogans, but sometimes, just sometimes, social networking can aid a creative breakthrough.
This summer Danny Brown caught Purity Ring on tour. Liking what he saw, the rapper Tweeted his admiration before an email correspondence opened up. Purity Ring's Corin Roddick remixed 'Belispeak' and invited Danny Brown to add an extra verse.
