It's finally happening...

Material from the Prince catalogue will finally hit streaming services this weekend.

The move has been mooted for some time, with streaming services holding discussions with the Prince Estate and Warner Bros.

Now the Warner Bros. section of the Prince catalogue - which accounts for much of his imperial 80s run - will hit streaming services.

Spotify teased the move this week by colouring various sites in New York purple, a move they co-ordinated directly with Warner Bros.

Prince famously disliked streaming, and refused to allow his music to be used on Spotify, Apple Music et al.

The catalogue is set to come online after the Grammy awards this Sunday (February 12th) - so keep 'em peeled...
