Priestgate Race Back With ‘Some Things Never Change’

They hit London this week...

Priestgate have shared new single ‘Some Things Never Change’.

The band hail from a tiny town in Yorkshire, but they’ve become one of 2022’s breakout indie stories. ‘Eyes Closed For The Winter’ EP blazed a trail in March, with the group hitting festival season with alacrity.

Set to play London’s Scala on October 12th, Priestgate have just shared a brand new single. Out now, ‘Some Things Never Change’ is a peppy return, laced with energy and passion. Switching it up once more, the band prove their breadth on a dynamic indie burner.

Priestgate vocalist Rob Schofield explains…

“Change has been a theme through our tracks and the more I thought about that the more I understood that not everything does. This song is the opposite of our previous work in that sense, it’s quite literal, some things never change.”

Luke Hallet directs the video, a monochrome affair with some stylish effects – tune in now.
