Asobi Seksu are perhaps best known as purveyors of sensual shoegaze, a delight that falls softly from the speaker.
But former member James Hanna – alongside Will Donnelly and current Asobi Seksu drummer Larry Gorman – has a hidden love of all things heavy.
Working together as Youth Worship, the trio have a blast making upfront rock music. Frenzied riffs which recall everyone from Dinosaur Jr. to Motorhead, the band's debut album 'LP1' will be released on June 30th.
