For a while there it seemed as though we had lost Woodpigeon.
The Canadian musician slid away from the limelight, deciding to travel the world. Soaking up fresh experiences, Woodpigeon couldn't help but translate this into new material.
New album 'T R O U B L E' is the result. Out on April 1st, it flits between John Grant and Roxy Music, with a dash of Kanye West thrown in for good measure.
As the songwriter himself puts it: "It’s the loudest thing I’ve ever made."
Clash is able to premiere new cut 'Faithful' and it's a wonderful return. Inspired by global travel but pieced together in Vancouver, it's a remarkable mixture of fresh knowledge and experience.
