Premiere: WHITE – ‘Step Up’

Dark, edgy, and infuriatingly contagious...

WHITE are about to show you their dark side.

The Glasgow group have developed a refined sense of synth pop, a taut sense of glamorous electronic melody.

But that's all about to get thrown out the window. New cut 'Step Up' is a dark piece edgy post-punk, with the rattling snares set against some proto-techno synths.

Pitch black Juan Atkins style electronics underpin a dramatic, searing vocal, while the lyrics have taken on a potent new meaning in the past seven days.

Feeling disgusted with British life, and British politics? WHITE have got your back: "Wake up, and start again…"

Reference points could include those early Rapture cuts, the Bush Tetras, or even decadent nights at Glasgow night Optimo – it's a thrilling charge into the unknown, and we love every second of it.

Check it out now.

WHITE's new EP 'Cuts Don't Bleed' is forthcoming.
