Premiere: White Denim – Looking For A Place To Start

Listen to it now...

White Denim have recorded a new version of 'Looking For A Place To Start' – listen to it now.

White Denim are a tumbling torrent of creativity. The Texan four piece seem to spring into life in the studio, with new album 'Corsicana Lemonade' set to drop on October 28th.

Hitting the road, the band have outlined plans for a lengthy series of live shows. Packing the tour bus, White Denim have decided to bring with them a brand new 10 inch release.

A three track affair, White Denim have included a few alternate cuts and experimental re-workings. Speaking to fans on Facebook, the band said: "I wanted to let you all know that we are traveling with a limited run of 10 inch records. We recorded an alternate version of 'place to start', a Trad. Bluegrass arrangement of 'pretty green', and another PG version with the classic Sleng Teng riddim. I'm really fond of these cuts and I hope you'll like them as well. See you soon. Be well."

Ahead of the tour, Clash is able to post the first play of 'Looking For A Place To Start'. Fluid psychedelia with some Eastern tinged, wah wah laden guitars, you can check it out below:
