Premiere: VTR – ‘Soul To Skin’

Chopped up lyricism amid a sensual display of sound...

South London duo VTR seem to dwell on opposites.

A male-female duo, their music veers from the melodic to the abstract, from digital distortion to the yearning communication of the humane.

Lauded by Gilles Peterson, VTR's new EP 'Soul To Skin' emerges on Dream Diary on May 4th. It's a neat distillation of their thoughts and ideas, a delectable electronic producer that hinges on the sensual.

We're able to premiere the title cut, and it's reminiscent of those early James Blake EPs, or even the hushed intensity of Portishead.

It's an entrancing mixture, one we'll be returning to time and time again.
