Fuzzkill Records is a label and promotions collective based in Scotland, committed to throwing shows and releasing music by some of the best new bands around.
Releasing a flurry of vital cuts by the likes of Deathcats, New Swears and more, the Fuzzkill crew decided to celebrate Valentine's with a bang.
New album 'Under The Covers' is a neat compilation with a simple concept: it features some of their favourite bands covering love songs.
Not just any old love songs – a quick scan of the tracklist reveals songs of lust and longing, focussing on the initial thrill that only passion can provide.
So you'll find Tuff Love covering Bill Withers' 'Lovely Day' or PAWS tackling doo wop favourite 'Sea Of Love'. Pinact, meanwhile, try Teenage Fanclub's 'Sparky's Dream' out for size, while Faiides cover 'Just Like Honey' by the Jesus & Mary Chain.
Pre-order the compilation HERE – with all proceeds set to be donated to CLAN Cancer Support and the Maryhill Food Bank.
Launching with a special show on Valentine's Day, it's a fantastic compilation aimed at helping some more than worthy causes.
