Blissful Danish group return...
Treefight For Sunlight

Denmark's close-knit, ever-probing music scene is beginning to make in-roads on the UK.

The past year has witnessed a slew of acts impacting upon the nation's earlobes, but sadly Treefight For Sunlight has been strangely absent.

Long cult heroes in their native Denmark, Treefight To Sunlight signed to Bella Union for their second album. Self-titled, it won the band much acclaim (such as this here Clash review) on its 2011 release but failed to reach a wider audience.

Returning home, the band began work on new material at a familiar base. Working with Danish label Tambourhinoceros, Treefight For Sunlight are aiming to release their new album later this year.

For now, fans can feast their eyes (and ears) on new track 'Come Closer'. Swirling, hypnotic electronics with a psychedelic touch, there's a sweet pop vein here which is utterly addictive.

Check it out now.

Treefight For Sunlight are set to release their new album later this year.
