Down beat, down cast and down tempo, To Be Frank's name could not be more appropriate.
Across a series of EPs the Suffolk producer has defined a sound based on stark emotion, on the direct communication of his feelings.
Against this, though, lies music of subtle allusion. Comparisons to James Blake, Gang Colours and Airhead are perhaps apt, with Brownswood even placing one of the artist's tracks on their renowned 'Bubblers' compilation series.
To Be Frank will release his debut full length on January 26th, with Clash able to premiere languid new cut 'Let It Go'.
Under a tremulous vocal the producer casts ripples of music, a tender arrangement full of space and suggestion.
