It's a learning curve.
When Clash first heard The Ramona Flowers there was potential, for sure, but it had yet to be eked out.
Playing countless shows across the past 12 months, the band were recently invited to support Bombay Bicycle Club where they were thrust into a world of arena shows and huge crowds. Adapting effortless to their surroundings, the band are now set to focus on a summer peppered with headline dates of their own.
With new single 'Tokyo' set to drop on Monday (April 21st) perhaps that much longed for breakthrough is just around the corner. Recruiting a few guest producers on remix duties, Thom Green from alt-j has stepped in to work on his own version.
Deconstructing 'Tokyo' the Mercury winner adds in flecks of electronics, taking The Ramona Flowers defiantly into the left field.
Check it out now.
