Danish artist Esben Svane mad the decision to go it alone over 12 months ago, and he's never looked back.
Using the moniker The Radar Post as a vessel for his ideas, he has set about building a quite singular catalogue.
Clash is able to premiere new song 'Lifeline', a subtle and moving account of transition in the songwriter's own life.
“This track is retrospective of a time before I realized alcohol was taking the best of me”, Svane muses. “It was hard to realise how I had lied to myself for a long time… It was a crazy recognition process… So at the same time it's a song about hitting rock bottom and also about love. Give in to it. Change for it – change for the better.”
Draped in melancholic shoegaze yet with the faint aura of hope, 'Lifeline' is down tempo but never downcast, with The Radar Post continuing raising the tone.
