Premiere: The Leaf Library – ‘Tilting’

From new album 'Daylight Versions'

There's something innately ghost-like about The Leaf Library.

The band's dream-like aural sculptures seem to float past on the breeze, half-there and half-not. Pastoral and deeply English, their spectral meditations touch on everything from meteorology, the seasons to the Suffolk coastline.

A lingering presence for some time, The Leaf Library have succeeded in piecing together debut album 'Daylight Versions'. Out in October, it's a suitably Autumnal release for a band who thrive on a kind of quiet introspection – just right for long walks kicking through leaves.

Clash is able to air new cut 'Tilting' and it's blessed with a beautiful fragility. Recalling Yo La Tengo, Galaxie 500 or even Cocteau Twins, you can tune in below.

Catch The Leaf Library live at the following shows:

October
25 London The Betsey Trotwood (afternoon acoustic show)

November
22 London The Lexington (ALBUM LAUNCH Headline show)
