Turkish indie gurus return...
The Away Days

Turkey is in the midst of political turmoil.

It's a tough place to be young, and it's a tough place to gain acceptance in what is traditionally a Western dominated musical form.

Yet, somehow, The Away Days persevere. The group's sharpened shoegaze sound has won international acclaim, with the band supporting everyone from Savages to Belle & Sebastian.

'Places To Go' will be released on December 16th, and it finds The Away Days absorbing some rather more explicitly pop elements into their sound.

Hook-laden and unashamedly melodic, it's a direct return, but it still retains the depths of their early material.

Tune in now.
