We know enough about Manchester’s Ghosting Season to assume that any remix from the pair – be they together or operating individually – is going to be of a terrific quality. But this one’s tripped us up a bit, in so much as it’s taking the track in question away from propulsive electronics and into a territory that feels like the last dance at the komische disco at the end of a collective dream.
Gavin Miller, said 50% of GS, has put his mark on the newly released ‘What Goes Around’, the debut single from The Anchoress. Playing catch up? Don’t sweat it, newbie: The Anchoress is a project featuring multi-instrumentalist Catherine Anne Davies (pictured), previously seen and heard performing and recording as Catherine AD, and Paul Draper, known to a fair few souls out there as the leading man behind the concept-pop outfit Mansun.
