A meeting of minds, the project unites Tyson Ballard with vocalist Sheff. Together, the duo have crafted the abstract machine funk of 'Whispers', a crossover gem which draws on a rich vein of classic house.
A series of remixes have been commissioned, with the package set to drop via Love Fever later this summer. Clash is able to premiere a re-work from Boston funk specialists Soul Clap.
Stripping the track down, the production duo turn 'Whispers' into literal whispers – all suggestion and mood, the jazz-flavoured bass line is matched to eerie synths.
