Limerick was named 'City Of Culture' back in 2014.
Yet for many young people – coping with the aftermath of a nationwide recession – the title was a little wide of the mark. Fired up, post-punk newcomers Slow Riot penned a scathing ode in response.
'City Of Culture' turns the title on its head, a bass-heavy monster which recalls future of the left, Wire or even Dublin contemporaries Girl Band.
