Paint us a little smitten. Brooklyn-based singer Seasick Mama, aka Marial Maher, has been building a steady buzz since issuing her debut EP ‘Dead Like Money’ in early 2013. But this little number, ‘With A Broken Heart’, is probably our favourite track yet from the genre-hopping artist.

Her previous EP, late-2013’s seven-track ‘Tip Top Shape’, featured production from the likes of Sam Farrar and David Sitek, which goes to show the sort of starry company that Seasick Mama’s keeping right now. A single, ‘Hard To Take’, came out in April and can be heard here. Certainly highlights Maher’s tendency to flit between approaches, doesn’t it?
