Lil Wayne and Madonna, The Flaming Lips and Ke$ha – sometimes collaborations can go oh-so wrong.
Whereas other times, they're meant to be – and on the flip of his newest 12" Wayne Goodlitt AKA Roska has locked horns with Hyperdub mainstay Scratcha DVA, known for his out-there productions and weirdo takes on the ever-evolving landscape of UK bass music. The pair have worked together before, on 2009's 'Jelly Roll' EP, and have taken to remixing each other on multiple occasions.
The result this time? 'Lean Green', a fired-up slice of UK funky mayhem with an attitude, geared to juggle a dancefloor without breaking a sweat. Landing back onto his very own Roska Kicks and Snares imprint, the two-tracked 'Frst & Frmst' brings the heat, with both cuts guaranteed slots on soundsystems this summer.
