Premiere: Revere – My Mirror / Your Target

Three track sampler of their new album...

Wide ranging, that's Revere.

After all, just look at their line up: ranging from the Orkney Islands to Liverpool, the group encompass every corner of the United Kingdom.

Based in London, the seven piece collective have an orchestral flair, but accompany this with a sharply honed songwriting touch.

A support slot with double Grammy-winner Toumani Diabaté took the group to a new level, with an emboldened Revere entering the studio shortly thereafter.

New album 'My Mirror / Your Target' drops on May 5th, but ahead of this Revere have handed a neat three track sampler to Clash.

'I Won't Blame You' is a dark, brooding epic, with reference points including Leonard Cohen or Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds.

'Keep This Channel Open' is the closest the band have come to epic territory, buoyed by a morse-code guitar riff.

'These Halcyon Days' is the band's most overtly rock moment, albeit rock in a deeply intelligent, left field manner.

An intriguing introduction, you can listen to it below.
