Red Kite

Named in honour of one of England's most iconic - and rarest - birds, Red Kite have a poetic flair.

Debut album 'Songs For Crow' was inspired by the poetry of Ted Hughes, and found the six piece delving into the depths of melancholy and grief. It was an unexpected success.

Fan-sourced funding on PledgeMusic saw Red Kite reach their target in just four days, while the album itself was critically acclaimed.

Album cut 'Montreal' became a success in Canada, reaching the upper echelons of the iTunes chart. Given our Canadian cousins' recent track record, that's most definitely an accolade to be proud of.

New EP 'Montreal' uses the track as its centre piece, with Red Kite including a few more unreleased cuts.
