From new album 'The Family Tree: The Leaves'...
Radical Face

Ben Cooper is nothing if not ambitious.

The Florida-based songwriter commenced an enormous artistic endeavour a decade ago, plotting a trilogy of deeply autobiographical albums under his Radical Face alter ego.

'The Family Tree' trilogy comes to an end later this year, with 'The Family Tree: The Leaves' due to be released on March 25th.

Clash is able to premiere 'Secrets (Cellar Door)' and it's a wonderfully engrossing, strangely deceptive work. Split apart, there aren't a lot of instruments here - guitar, strings, some handclaps - but pieced together the impact is epic, cinematic.

The soft delivery allows an understated intensity to rip through 'Secrets (Cellar Door)', one that lingers long after the track has finished.
