Brick Bandits formed in New Jersey fifteen years ago, with Mike V and Tim Dolla devoting themselves to uncovering cutting edge club sounds.
Remaining at the forefront, the pairing almost single-handedly spawned the Jersey Club Sound. Switching between house, trap, straight up hip hop and pop, it's a sound which eschews definition to work explicityly in a club setting.
Brick Bandits Records is a fresh label, aiming to unite Jersey Club Sound producers with those outwith the scene.
To inaugurate the imprint, Mike V and Tim Dolla have recruited long time crew member R3ll. The 'Directions' EP will be released on April 22nd, containing five tracks of outrageous, unbridled energy – pre-order LINK.
Clash is able to premiere 'Hit Me' and it's a snarling introduction. All whiplash snares and bulletproof kicks, Riddim Commission stop by on a track which hints at the producer's earlier love of hip hop.
