Primitive Parts were drawn together following a joint stint working in a London record shop.
The three piece began spinning early Stiff Records cuts, alongside savage bursts of 60s rock 'n' roll and realised that they had some mutual tastes and influences.
Boasting experience in Male Bonding and Sauna Youth, the trio began sketching out new material almost immediately.
Laying down material as quickly as possible, new album 'Parts Primitive' will be released on September 18th. Ahead of this, Clash is able to air new cut 'Troubles' and it's a gleefully ramshackle piece of guitar pop.
Swell Maps with the wit of Ray Davies and a faux peacock strut based on Mick Jagger, you can tune in below.
