Premiere: PLGRMS – ‘Dream You Up’

Australian duo's pop-tinged melter gains full visuals...

Everything PLGRMS touch seems to turn into gold.

The Australian duo just have that innate pop feel, with their productions racing across the web.

Releasing just three singles, the pair have clocked up more than five million streams to date – a phenomenal track record.

New single 'Dream You Up' is scorching its way to success, with PLGRMS focussing on the initial thrill of attraction.

Jacob Pearson from the band explained: "When there’s mystery behind something or someone, it’s so interesting and intriguing. By nature we just can't help ourselves and want to find out what it is. It's the anticipation and the thrill of what we don't understand. I’ve gone through it, but when you unveil the truth, the magic just disappears. So, it's about stopping yourself from understanding it completely, so that thrill can hang around a bit longer."

Clash is able to share the full video, and it's an abstract journey that mimics the duo's offbeat pop sound. PLGRMS explain: "We've always been really keen to do an animated video and 'Dream You Up' seemed the perfect song to do it. Working with Stephen Smith (of Wobblylobster in the UK) has been great. He has really captured the mood of the song visually, taking the viewer on an abstract journey where make-believe is reality.”
