Paul Aiden is best known as one half of Chimes, a production unit whose work sits deftly on electronic music's left-wing.
With a burgeoning live reputation and some stellar material behind them, the group have an expansive, creative outlook, one imbued with real potency.
Always seeking out new challenges, Paul Aiden recently decided to focus on the acoustic guitar, writing a few new songs in the process.
New solo cut 'It's Over Now' is a deft solo number, featuring some sterling songwriting and neat acoustic chords.
Incoming from the Killing Moon team, it's a real delight, a soothing return that feels completely natural.
Paul says, “It was written about the first time my heart was truly broken. I decided it would be cool in the song to view it from the perspective of the other person. I was very close to losing my mind at the time of writing it ‘a million flowers won’t get you back into my bed’ sums up the finality of it all.“
