OUTLYA's Henry explains: "In the band we like to think of OUTLYA as a mythical place of escape and refuge. Lyrically, the song 'Higher' focusses on finding that place within your own imagination."
"Inspired by those lyrics when approaching the remix, I consciously recorded a few of my own favourite sounds, that I find help transport me to that 'Higher' place. What started as a fun collage of sound quickly evolved into a new arrangement of the song that I was proud of, whilst also giving an alternative perspective of what OUTLYA can mean to an individual."
