Premiere: Oscar Luweez – ‘On & Off’ (Zed Bias Boss Man Remix)

Bass pioneer gets frisky...

Oscar Luweez is a new name but a familiar face.

The producer previously worked under the D1 moniker, and was part of that initial creative flowering which pushed UK garage into dubstep. Since then, the London artist has had a bit of a conversion.

Exhausting that cavernous dubstep sound, the producer has re-emerged as the rather more house-friendly Oscar Luweez.

New release 'On & Off' is a propulsive introduction. All snapping snares and the gentle rush of cymbals, the track still hints at Oscar's bass heritage.

Zed Bias is part of the remix crew, grabbing 'On & Off' and injecting some ruffneck energy. Barnstorming house with some serious sub-low flavours, you need to watch out for that killer flute section…
