October Drift tend to shun social media and let their music talk for itself.
When the music is as strong as new single 'Robots' it's easy to see why. Currently crashing their way across the UK on tour, the band are busy winning fans over on a one-to-one basis.
Out on November 13th 'Robots' is a mature, seductive and beguiling piece of guitar music, and Clash is pleased to be able to premiere the flip.
Tucked away on the B-side, 'Syrup' has a rather more languid, atmospheric feel. A brooding alternative to the lead cut, 'Syrup' demonstrates another side to the four piece.
October Drift explain: "It’s about waking up to that moment when you don't quite know where you are, or even who you are, and the crash back to reality as things start to come back to you. As far as our songs go it's definitely one of the more optimistic."
